Ok so I have been taking pictures for 24 years.  I developed my own black and white pics in HS....I miss being in the darkroom and watching all the magic happen.  Then digital became the latest and greatest.  We became a more instant picture society.  So what do you do with your pictures once you have them on your computer.  There are alot of free programs that you can use to enhance your photos or do fun things with them and of course there is the ever popular photoshop.  Here is a photoshop enhancement.

Here is a few free photo editing websites to check out....

Pinta is a great solution if easy editing is your goal. It's a bit of a mix between Microsoft's basic Paint program and Photoshop. But don't be fooled by its simplicity. It's quite powerful.

Pinta includes all of the basic tools you'd expect: color correction, brushes, a clone stamp and a number of selection tools.

But it also has the more advanced features as well. For example, you can create multiple layers, and you get full history tracking.

ImageSizer- File sizes for digital photos can be big. That makes them difficult to share using e-mail. You can probably send one or two at a time. ImageSizer resizes and compresses them at the touch of a button. You could e-mail entire folders of photos.

CleVR Stitcher- Panoramic photos can capture stunning scenes. But many digital cameras can't manage them. With this program, that doesn't matter. CleVR Stitcher will combine multiple photos into a panoramic image.

TiltShift Generator- The tilt-shift effect is very cool. It simulates a shallow depth of field. This makes photos seem less lifelike. People, vehicles and buildings can look like miniature models. Apply the effect to any photo.

Webcam to GIF - Animated GIFs pack a short animation into a single image file. They can be used as online forum avatars. Or, you can just have fun sharing them with friends. With this program, making one is easy. All you need is your Webcam.

Jigsawlite- Photography tools don't have to do something productive. Take Jigsawlite. It's just for kicks. It can turn your photos into jigsaw puzzles. Putting them back together is fun. It's a great way to pass some time.

Enjoy!

Peace and Love,

P
