Day one is about to come to a close. I did pretty well on calories almost reaching 1100 calories. It is close enough for govt work :0) Ate alot of veggies today. Maybe too many we will see (I know there is no such thing as too many but if you knew me you would know I am not a veggie fan). I woke up and had an egg white omelet with a bit of cheese then headed out to the grocery for this weeks snack supply, and prep for a health diner. Once at the grocery I got salad stuff to make me a salad for lunch tomorrow. Sounded good. Some apple slices. they seem to be easier to eat while at work then a regular apple. Tomorrows treat tho is some blackberries and 2 strawberries. YUMMY! The challenge will be to only get things out of my lunch box. I will only take $1 with me so I am not tempted to get to use the vending machine. I have to work on will power. Being this is my slow time at work it would be really easy to cheat. But I'm much stronger than that. But just in case I have a moment of weakness no cash :0)
Lunch was a can of veggie soup that tasted fabulous. At a sugar cookie because it was there. For dinner we made lemon garlic chicken and had veggie pasta with it....the chicken had great flavor everything else was kinda bland. also had broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with it and a small salad. SO pretty good for the first day out of the gate!
I measured my body today. I am always amazed at this process. I know what size clothes I wear and when you take an measure those parts of your body...well let me just say it makes me put my head down in shame. But no fear I am working for a more fit me, so these numbers will be changing. Next Sunday when I measure I will post the changes. I am measuring my neck, chest, abs (they are there somewhere), hips, left thigh, left calf, left forearm and left bicep. I wanna see the changes. In number form.
